Meet the Principal

Kelly Barbe

Barbe, an educator for 15 years, has served as the campus assistant principal since 2018. Previously, she taught first grade in Douglas County Schools (Georgia) and first and third grade in Waxahachie ISD, where she was also an administrative intern.

Barbe graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (ECE). She earned a Master’s in ECE from Jacksonville State University, and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Texas A&M Commerce in 2015.

She and her husband James have two children, including a kindergartener at Eastridge.
